In the Beginning

"I had an unusual start to my career. I was an art student and performance artist, and everyone loved my Laurie Anderson-style voice.

I explored spoken-word performance and put out records as a member of the San Francisco based performance groups; the Nuclear Beauty Parlor, Monster Girls and the Church of the Subgenius.

I later developed client skills working in public relations at OTR Studios in Belmont, CA. After moving to the Pacific Northwest, I created my voice over business after I had two babies within two years and wondered, "Now what?"

My voice over strengths are two-fold: as a narrator for Web site, business, and health care industry audio projects, and voicing commercials for TV and Radio.

I am also a copywriter and can provide copy editing services to my clients.
